How do you handle copyrighted materials?

At Leg­en­tibus, we take great care to ensure that we have the legal right to use all texts, books, audio, and trans­la­tions pub­lished on our plat­form. For books still under copy­right, Leg­en­tibus secures the nec­es­sary rights and com­pen­sates the copy­right hold­ers accord­ing­ly.

The audio is a bit fast for my taste, can I slow it down?

You can adjust the play­back speed of the Latin audio while read­ing the text. In the read­er, tap the three dots in the top cor­ner and select the but­ton labeled 1.0x. A list of speed options will appear—choose your pre­ferred speed and return to lis­ten­ing.

Can I use Legentibus without internet?

You need to be online to down­load the app and to sub­scribe. Once sub­scribed you can down­load any book you like in the library, which will make that book avail­able for lis­ten­ing and read­ing offline.
