When you have finished studying a chapter and feel ready to progress to the next, you can tap on the “Mark as read” button at the end of the chapter. This is a great way to check off the chapter and helps you feel that you are making progress. To celebrate this, a popup will appear that proclaims that the chapter is completed, and gives you an overview of where you are in the book.
However, there are situations where these popups may become distracting, especially if the chapters are short, or if you are a fast reader who prefer to move through the book without interruptions.

Today, we have added the option to turn off these celebratory popups. When you have a book open, tap on the three dots in the top-right corner. Then tap the “Play mode” button (), and turn off “Show celebrations”. From then on, there will be no popups when a chapter is completed, or when you have reached your daily goal. These events will only be marked by a subtle sound effect.
If you can’t see this setting yet, please close the book, and then select “Reload catalog” in the app menu to get the latest version.
