The 124 “Epistulae Morales ad Lucilium” (Moral Letters to Lucilius) represent one of the defining texts of Stoic philosophy. In this third volume of the complete letters, we present letters 22–29 penned by the Roman philosopher Seneca in the final years of his life (62–65 AD) during his retirement from public service.
Addressed to his friend Lucilius Junior, these open letters offer a window into Seneca’s thoughts on ethics, wisdom, death, emotions, and much more.
