Optimizing translations

With the new Leg­en­tibus ver­sion, we’ve added a new fea­ture for inter­lin­ear trans­la­tions (“trans­la­tion bub­bles”). Now we’re also devel­op­ing a new fea­ture for the “nor­mal” trans­la­tions to make it even eas­i­er to com­pare the Latin and Eng­lish texts.

That’s why I’m cur­rent­ly revis­ing some of our old­er trans­la­tions to make them more lit­er­al and more suit­able for the planned fea­ture (and of course they’ll be even more use­ful to you as well).

The fol­low­ing books have already got­ten an improved trans­la­tion in the last few days (and more will fol­low in the next cou­ple of days):

• Fab­u­lae Lati­nae I+II
• Feles emu­nc­tae naris
• Eques (Hal­loween Spe­cial)
