Your brain is a pat­tern-match­ing machine. It was built to acquire lan­guage. It does­n’t need to be forced; it needs to be fed.

Every time you read or lis­ten to a sto­ry in Latin, you are giv­ing your brain the raw mate­r­i­al it craves. You’re feed­ing it pat­terns, sounds, and con­text. It will do the hard work of build­ing the con­nec­tions for you, often while you sleep.
