Book recommendation (intermediate)

Every morn­ing I take about half an hour to read some­thing on Leg­en­tibus that is not direct­ly relat­ed to my work. I’ve just fin­ished read­ing Britain and the Emper­ors again.

The title of the book does­n’t sound very excit­ing, but the text pro­vides a real­ly inter­est­ing sketch of the careers of the Cae­sars who had deal­ings with Britain. The style is quite ele­gant and the dif­fi­cul­ty lies in the inter­me­di­ate range.

So if you’re a bit more advanced and inter­est­ed in Roman or British his­to­ry, you’ll def­i­nite­ly like this book.
