Optimizing interlinear translations
Some of you have probably already noticed that we’ve recently updated our Beginner Stories. I’m currently working on optimizing the interlinear translations for a new feature. In the new version of Legentibus, which will be available very soon, in addition to an improved form of the existing interlinear feature, you’ll also be able to tap […]
Lots of testing
Soon we’ll release a new version of Legentibus in which the reading experience will be completely revised and improved. We’re currently working on it day and night. My task is to test the old and new features and report bugs. So I’m working my way through all our books to find errors and make suggestions […]
Sometimes not everything goes according to plan 😉
I noticed by chance today that when we published the first 5 Colloquia Personarum in the immersion course, we also accidentally published a book containing the first ten Colloquia. Some of you have already discovered it in the library. That wasn’t quite the plan. 😂 Next week Colloquia 6–10 will be available for everyone!
The magic of illustrations
I’ve just added Amelie’s wonderful illustrations to some of the Auda chapters (look out for updates to the books soon!). Isn’t it fascinating how the images bring the story even more to life? PS: I’m a big fan of the little piggies.

I’m a big fan of interlinear translations and especially for beginners they’re a good support, but translating word for word can sometimes be a bit tedious 😅. Next up is the commentary. This is perhaps the most difficult part. I still have to do some research […]
Level 2 + 3 in a new look
The mentioned reorganization of level 2 + 3 is finished! 🎉 5 new colloquia and 5 revised beginner stories will be available from next week (after I’ve proofread everything again to be on the safe side). Work on the sixth chapter of Auda is also progressing. More on this soon.
Auda, chapter 6 in progress
Yay, I just got the audio for Auda, chapter 6 from Daniel. 🎉 That means I can now start with macronizing and proofreading the Latin text, writing the translation and compiling the commentary! I’ll keep you up to date 😊
Restructuring level 2 + 3
So, at the moment I’m working on restructuring levels 2 and 3 of the immersion course. From chapter 6 or 7 onwards, the level of difficulty in Familia Romana increases quite quickly. This can be problematic and demotivating, especially for complete beginners. For this reason, Daniel and I have decided to only have a Familia […]
